Problem Solving

There are two options for using problem solving within Lean management.

1. Firstly, particular issues with no obvious cause may be identified (for example during a value stream mapping event). Clearly, more investigations are required, and a structured problem solving approach is the way to get to the root cause of the problem and identify the right solution(s).

2. Secondly, there may be a particular problem (that is sufficiently defined in scope) which does not require a full intervention. The structured approach will help to resolve this type of problem in an efficient way.

We systematically work through the problem solving steps to diagnose and resolve your problems

One of the key success criteria of many companies that have progressed down the route of Lean management has been the ability to create an army of internal problem solvers. We can help you create this army through a structured training programme
